A fun, genre-blending marvel that weaves soulful vocals, emotive storytelling, and hypnotic beats into an immersive and captivating musical journey.

INJI’s “DROP TOP” is a genre-blending marvel that seamlessly combines elements of R&B, hip-hop, and electronic music. The song’s alluring production, driven by hypnotic beats and dreamy synths, sets the stage for a melodic journey. Eddie Zuko’s soulful and emotive vocals add depth to the track, drawing listeners into a world of emotions and sensations.

Around six months ago, Inci embarked on a personal and audacious project—to release her own song on Spotify. Despite her previous songwriting experience, she lacked the know-how in music production. Fortunately, luck was on her side when her jazz band’s drummer and fellow Penn graduate, Alex Graf (C ’22), eagerly offered to join forces for this ambitious endeavor. Their songwriting journey began, and Alex became her unwavering rock, propelling her towards creative heights.

Inci’s EP includes two standout tracks, “GASLIGHT” and “MADELINE,” both boasting a clever and tongue-in-cheek narrative centered around exes and wild nights out. With lyrics designed to tickle the funny bone and inspire laughter, Inci aims to create a joyful experience for her listeners. Beyond the lightheartedness, her EP also holds themes of female empowerment, encapsulating the spirit of taking back control and embracing personal power.
